Hi i am drawing for a company that manufactures in imperial and outsources in metric, hence it is ideal to have both represented in the drawings. How can this be acheived? Hi i have created a model with units in inches, now i want to convert it to mm without changing the values(ie 25in +25mm). How do i set the drawing defaults to open in inches not mm when i start? I have changed all the document and default document properties to inches but it still keeps my solidworks import in mm. The dimensions reflect the mm sizes so when i change units, the dimensions change to the mm value and part is way too. Ok so i modeled a part in sw2019 in inches but thought i was in mm. Inches are my primary units. I don't want to redraw the part from scratch on a inches template;

I went in to do the weldment. I don't want to redraw the part from scratch on a inches template; Ok so i modeled a part in sw2019 in inches but thought i was in mm. I want dual dimensions to display units mm for millimeters for the secondary dimension, but not in for inches on the primary dimension.
